Between March 31 and April 4, 2025, two officers from "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy participated in the "International Staff Week" event organized by Royal Air Force College Cranwell in the United Kingdom. The event brought together participants from over 15 countries and aimed to showcase the educational programs, training methods, and activities conducted within the academy over the course of 24 weeks, in order to implement the necessary competencies for future officers of Royal Air Force Officer Training Academy (RAFOTA)
Throughout the event, a series of thematic briefings were held to provide an overview of the main areas of training. During the event, tactical exercises were conducted, which were planned and executed by cadets in training modules 2 and 4. These exercises demonstrated the high level of tactical-operational preparedness and the application of the knowledge acquired
The event was attended by observers from Norway, Finland, Australia, Oman, Bahrain, South Korea, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, France, Ghana, Pakistan, Sweden, Japan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Sri Lanka, and Qatar. This international presence facilitated the exchange of best practices and the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations in the field of military education.
The week concluded with the graduation ceremony of the cadets who, after 24 weeks of intensive training, successfully completed the academy's courses, marking a moment of recognition for their effort and performance.
